Are you nursing your baby. I didn't have my period for 12 months while I was nursing.

Not having your period is one of the good things when you are nursing. Though I know a few who have had their periods. I nursed all 4 of my kids, loved not having to deal with the curse.

I think it is common in some. For me both are cesareans, and I got mine exactly after one and half month. Many people say some won't get their periods for one year after child birth. So, don't worry and see your Doctor. Since you are nursing the baby worry is not good. Hope for the best.

I'm not sure. Why don't you check with your doctor?

I think it is pretty normal for you to be "out of whack" for a while following childbirth. It is better to be safe than sorry though. Go see your doctor just to be sure. Your sweet little baby needs it's momma to be healthy in order to provide the best of care.

My sister-in-law had her child 17 months ago and still has not had a period. The Dr. says that she is fine and not to worry.

You don't need to see a doctor. It is normal not to get your period straight away. Make the most of it!
