are cheer leaders needed in cricket ?

Cheer leaders are not necessary for IPL. But, they encourage players and the audience for each shot. It is one of the different form of encouragement. Also their dance steps are nice. So, cheer leaders can be in the IPL.

It is one of those factors which will destroy the game. During the IPL matches many fellows came to the place to see the dance. Is cricket being given the importance here? Also these dances will force many mothers and wifes from allowing their kins to watch the matches. Will it in any way contribute to the IPL. I don't think that the cheerleaders are the one who made the IPL a success. If the IPL fellows think that we, the cricket fans are that mean then it is their problem of bad preception and perveted sense of bussiness. How can they ever keep us in the same platform as the americans who have an uncontrolled obsession with these chearleaders.
