who will win the series between newzealandb and australia?

Before the start of the series i would have said Australia were favorite to win.. But now after Ricky ponting rested for rest of the series and marsh out due to injury i think both teams are equally placed.. Personally being an Indian,I would want Australia to lose the series and India to become no.1 team in the world.

As a true Indian cricket fan, I would like the New Zealand to win the series as a whitewash. And the Black Caps won the first of the, I think, 5 matches in style. The last ball win might have given the New Zealanders a great zeal. It was a good reply as the OZs had beaten the New Zealand team after being defeated by India here at home. The start that OZ got in spite of winning the toss, was so pitiful, that it was hard to say if these are the same Champions. They scored only 28 runs in the first 10 overs. Moverover there were two quite stupid run-outs in the form of Ponting and then Clarke. It didn't seem as if a world champ side is playing. And now after all they aren't the world no. 1 either. None of the OZ batsmen could face the New Zealand attack. No doubt, the OZ were on top for quite sometime when they were bowling, and it seemed that they would be able to defend a small target. But Ross Taylor played a super fine innings. And gave New Zealand a memorable win. So I want the New Zealanders to win and help keep Australia away from the World No. 1 spot.

I hope New Zealand will win the series. Because Australia is not the best team now. It don't have the chance to win the series. Australians are in the downfall. The champions are going be South Africa and India.
