I am from Denmark, so Danish is my native language. I read books in Danish and in English. I am very interested in new age or alternative psychology and quite often the books that I want to read haven't been traslated into Danish, so I read them in English instead. Danish and English are the only two languages that I regularly read and write, but I am able to read German as well. I haven't written German for a long time, so I don't know if I can still do it. I can also read some French and some Italian but only on a basic level.

I know about 8 languages including English. They are: Read,Write,Understand,Speak(Conversation as well as Public speech)- English, Hindi,Telugu,Tamil,Kannada and Sanskrit. Read,Write,Understand,Converse(Working knowledge): Urdu and Malayalam. Read and somewhat write: Bengali. I can Understand Bengali if the Sanskritized version is used like in Bankim Chndra Chatterjee's writings. I can understand any tough writing in Sanskrit, and can almost give a running translation. By this I mean I can read Sanskrit mentally and translate into any of the other languages I know well like English Hindi Tamil etc., My dream (Which is not from realization is ) To increase my fluency of all activities in Sanskrit to a level better than English. When I say Ican translate into Sanskrit, I mean I can write this very blog in Sanskrit. In fact I am searching badly for a Sanskrit editor on my blog-sites like www.blogger.com. I tried using the Hindi editor to write Sanskrit text and encountered problems. If anybody knows how to link a Sanskrit editor to Blogger I would only be thankful.

My mother tounge is Javanese. I am not sure whether you have heard of it. It is a language spoke by a major tribe in Java Island, Indonesia. I can speak it properly but I have a problem in writing the Javanese characters which is originated from Sanskrit. I also can speak and write Indonesian, a language for my country. I am also fluent in English.

I speak in english a lot because my boyfriend is australian latvian, who lives in Latvia only last 7 years. Latvia's 2nd language is russian which I understand, am able to read in and write but I don't speak in it very well. I can read german and spanish but there are no much fun because I understand 5% from all the text.
