Why are brides more excited about weddings than grooms?

Pardon me because I don't want to sound sexist when I ask this. But is it a woman thing? I'm just fascinated by the situations surrounding this "phenomenon". Hahaha. I think most married women here can admit it right? You were a lot more excited about your wedding more so than your husband? I don't know the answer to my question that's why I'm asking for everyone's own opinion. Please help me!

Because it is supposed to be a fairy tale come true! It usually is for that one day!

I dont think it makes you sound sexist at all it is true for the most part most women do get excited about wedding stuff I think its because girls are brought up to beleive fairy tales like Cinderella So they want that fairy tale wedding and they look forward to their Prince Charming its sad when the realize that life is NOT a fairy tale and there is NO happy ever after
