i have a mobile phone that can accept sim cards from any network and i recently saw an offer on the net where if you change from your network to theirs you recieve a free ten pounds for doing so.sounds great but when i did it it took 2 days to finalise(for which time my phone was out of action)then finally when it was reconnected the ten pound credit wasnt on there.i gave it a few days to appear and when it didnt i tried to ring customer services to find out why.much to my annoyance there was a recorded message telling me i did not have enough credit to make the call.enough complaining now for the good part,i had to phone them from a landline to get it sorted out and although they weren't too keen, they ended up having to credit my phone with the ten pounds and the best thing was that as a new customer who may well leave i demanded credit to cover the call i had to make to sort it out,i got an extra five pound credit,so sometimes it's not always the big firms that win lol, anyone had similar trouble or even just any trouble with phone companies?
