When Was The Last Time You Browsed The Interests?

Over the past couple of days I've been browsing the interests and have added loads of new ones I never new existed, I started with the food and beverages and there are so many it's unbelievable I added loads. I've found some really interesting (though often old) discussions to respond to and even added new friends, We miss out on so many good discussions by not browsing the interests fully and only visiting the most active ones. The hobbies section is worth browsing too so many things we could be discussing but don't.

When I start a discussion I always like to make sure that my discussion goes into the right category, if you are going to do it, do it right! You see so many discussions just dumped into unrelated interest categories, which makes it clumsy doesn't it? So when I go to post I do check which is the best interest and I have added interests in the past, It's a good feeling being able to add without it being left to the moderators or waiting around for it to be accepted. I added a few extra films to the film interest which is one of my favourite categories on Mylot.

Yes I like to post under the right interest, but then discussions get less responses as you have to rely on your friends to respond as no one else looks at the interest.

Since the beginning of the year I have more time to be here on myLot and I have been adding new interests too. Like you said there are many new ones and I was not aware of them either. I have also added them when responding to discussions in the 'no responses' section and there I often get asked 'do you want to add this?' and most times I do. Sadly many are duplicate though but nontheless there are so many we are not aware of and checking through them every now and then is really worthwhile.

I browsed the interets a couple of days ago. I don't often do it anymore because it seems that I spend all my time going through the e-mail notifications of the people on my friends list. I always go through them first, and then I find other discussions to answer. So since my computer time is not as long as it used to be, I don't browse the interests too often anymore.

I don't use the email notifications, only when someone responds to one of my discussion or comments on something I wrote. I seem to earn more money when I reply to subjects in all different interests too, though I can't work out if it's because the number of posts I make that day goes up or not.

Once in awhile I browse the interests when I can't find any good discussions and don't have anything decent to write myself. I probably do this about once every two to three months.
There ARE so many interests! It takes awhile to go through them all, and many are repeated at least a few times, such as "MyLot" and "MyLot.com" for example and variations like that. It takes so much time to go through them, so I only do a few topics at a time rather than going through hundreds and hundreds of interests.

Yes I've been going through one group at a time whenever I have some spare time, so far I've done food and beverages, hobbies and things I want to do with my life, I did movies and music a while ago.

Honestly it has been a few months since I browsed the interests. I do occasionally look for certain things and go through them a little bit, but I have not gone through them really thoroughly. I guess I should do that too. If I get a little extra time I will try doing that as well.

I just choose one category at a time and go through as many pages as I can, it's worth it as you find discussions to respond to as well and new friends.

I can't remember the last time I browsed the interests... probably a year ago, when I actually deleted a bunch of interests from my profile. There are so many similar interests started, too... at least three for cross-stitching that I know of, not counting crafts.

It is worth doing when you have the time, there's all sorts of things to choose from you wouldn't have thought of adding.

I browsed interest earlyer today in, i think, 'things i want to do with my life''or 'in' i dont remember. I looove to do that, there are such many things that i always feel overhelmed and i never know what to pick. I would pick everything in the same time if i can lol

There are so many things and there's not many discussions under a lot of them so it's hard to know what to add, I see if there's any discussions I can respond to then add it normally.

I surf by interest all the time. I add things all the time. I look for my friends discussions and respond to some of those as well.

I like to look at the most active interests along the top that's why I like to add them, but it's always the same ones. It would be good if people posted more under other interests, I see lots of discussions under mylot and life that could have gone in other places.

I try to browse a few more interests everytime that I come online but because I am limited in the amount of time that I spend online, I am not always able to. I agree with you though, we do seem to miss out on some good conversations if we don't take the time to look through them once in a while.
