On a day like today I really want to flock to the store and get a grip!
Or a pair of grips I should say...for my boots
I just returned from taking my boy to school and boy is it icy out there!
The side walks are an absolute hazard!!!
I walk and bus everywhere and it is becoming more and more obvious to me that I should have a pair of these things because even my winter boots are no good on the ice I might s well be wearing a tennis shoe...I'd have as much traction! It is so icy this winter I find...Much worse than other years!
I'd love a pair of these and think they would be very beneficial for me!
I hope they are not too pricey!
So, do have a pair of these?
If so do you like them and find that they work well?
Is it icy where you live right now?
How are you coping with the winter this year?
Getting a grip as I slide into home plate!

Some of the things I've tried to put on the bottom of my boots work well and some don't. It's icy and a good idea to have something with teeth that says on your boots. Good luck and take care.

Yes, this winter has been very bad here for ice!
I really am going to investigate at the stores and purchase something that I hope will help!

Hiya heavens,
Glad to hear you and your son made it home safely.
Like you, I also have to walk these hazardous sidewalks to work and back, and at this time of year it isn't any fun always having to watching your step and living in fear that you're going to fall. Due to a bad fall last winter, I invested in a pair this year and it sure makes it a lot easier walking. It gives you a lot of traction as well as a lot of confidence while walking.
The pair I have is called WinterTrax and roughly cost about $20. Its a great investment and i recommend them to everyone who is walking in such hazardous conditions.
Lots of Hugs
