mendis was supposed to play a crucial role in the one day series between India and sri lanka.. But, in two matches he has taken only two wickets( that too of zaheer khan and praveen kumar) and gave above forty runs in both matches.. has Indian players finally overcome mendis threat...?

I think Indians have overcome the mendis threat .Indians were confused about the bowling action of mendis first but now they played him very well .We can see the difference in the asiacup and the current series. This is a good sign for India.

I think so.INDIANS have played him very intelligently. They played him comfortably. YUVRAJ was little cautious at the start in the second One day while facing him. Them he got control over him and played a very beautiful six over the long off. At the beginning of the series everyone thought that murali and mendis would get through the Indian batsmen quickly but determined Indian players proved it wrong . They have to keep the good work for the rest of the series as well.

It seems thtat you are right, Indian team has learned to overcome the mendis fear factor.
Batsman are really playing good shots against him.
India seems to white wash the Lankans on their home ground. Best wishes to Indian cricket team.

Mendis and Muralitharan are being pulverized by both Yuvraj and Sehwag in today's ongoing match..Both came up with scintillating centuries. Do I have to say more?
