Do you get scared when you walk on the dark areas at night???

I used to, but now I guess I'm not anymore coz' I know I will always be protected by the Lord. I don't entertain myself with wild ideas and I don't watch horror movies so my mind wouldn't be corrupted with wild wild imaginations. I'm actually easily scared of such things that's why I try to avoid watching horror films or show that will trigger my mind to thinking of such things. I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe there are bad spirits that lurks around and are trying to flood our minds with nonsense stuff.

yes i do get scared but try to walk faster and avoid strange people not that kind of fear that some strange creature will atack me :)) but fear from other people, somethingh bad would happen to me etc i sometimes get scared when from the middle of nowhere a cat crosses my way or in the silence of the street walking by a house a dog starts to bark

I like dark but I prefer dim. It's kind of scary walking at night at dark places that you are not familiar with. There would be tons of creepy things running in my head for sure, and it would scares me more to pass through. But I don't mind walking in the dark with someone I like. But seriously, walking alone in the dark creeps me out at times whether the place is familiar or not.

Of course i feel scared walking on the dark areas alone.But I still watch horrible movies without fear because they're not real. very often In my dreams there's a strange man chasing me all the way at night and i couldn't cry.It's my nightmare.

Honestly, I am not afraid of the dark. I used to walk along dark places at night back in college. I stayed at a dormitory and usually, I'd go to the library (which closes at 12 midnight) and study there. I'd stay there all night until I'd finish reviewing. On the way back to my dormitory, I'd have to pass tall trees where lamp posts were very far from each other. I don't know, I just don't get scared easily if there's nothing bothering me. I think it's all in the mind.

ya i do get scared when walking in dark areas alone in night... because i believe in ghosts... i will run faster and try to avoid strangers who ever try to speak to me.

Ofcourse yes!!! I'm very very scared to walk alone at night. I never want to walk alone. Happy mylotting

Yes, I do get nervous walking through dark areas at night. I make sure to stay away from dangerous areas at night, but it still makes me nervous, even when I know I'm in a pretty safe area. I try to avoid walking by myself at night. I feel much better if I am with someone, or especially with a group of friends. I think that's a lot safer.

Hello there. Yes, I get afraid when walking on the dark areas or street at night. It is not the ghost or monster that I am afraid of but it is the bad people who are ready to harm you in any ways. I am afraid of someone going into my way then get all my money, bags and worst kill me.. you know, like we usually heard in the news when someone get nabbed or something. that is why as much as possible, I don't go home very late or i would send a text message at home so someone can wait for me or pick me up. I just cannot avoid going home late when I am assigned to "midshift". My schedule is between two in the afternoon til eleven in the evening. And I really hate it! Hi Mailtoramesh, I'm more scared of thieves, robbers or psychos (humans) than creatures or ghosts, though I also don't wish to meet any aliens or spirits. Human monsters can sometimes inflict more injury and fear; maybe they are more real.

ya fine everybody body gets to be feared when they walk lonely in a dark place and also i do fear when i walk lonely in some dark palces just not interested in facts that there are ghosts and all

Hi there, Well I think it is normal perphaps even sensible to be a little nervous when you are alone walking at night. I try to make sure that I do not go out alone at night. If I do have to go out I will try to bring a friend or say in well lit and in areas where there are a lot of people so that I wont be isolated and if I get into trouble I can yell for help. I don't think it would be a good idea to get so afraid that you can not think clearly or react if you need to. I also think that it is a good idea to plan ahead and decide where you will go or what you will do if someone is following you and you feel uncomfortable. I think it is always better to be cautious. I am not scared to walk at night or at dark places. i was once alone at night when we were out and it was dark so after that i din't get scared. it changed how i feel about dark.you just have to be conscious . And i don't believe in ghosts so it helps not to get scared.

I dont really mind walking in the dark. Just as long as i know where im going and avoiding back alley streets, even those streets id avoid in the day time. Actually, I like walking the dark, specifically when it is raining or snowing, gives me a nostalgic feeling.

night and darkness did frightened me when i was young and then i came over those fears. Every one have fear about everything around him but the amount of fight he put's against that fear may vary. Some people don't even fight the fear. If one is brave there is much to gain from this world and the world is a gold mine for him and he will be happy. Cowards will be always unhappy and losers.(no offense)

Personally I am afraid of the dark, I won't walk at night, especially since I don't live in a very good area. I don't know a lot of people that feel safe walking the streets at night, especially with all the crazy people out there. I think it is only natural that you would be afraid, and if I ever found myself in that position I would be running to the nearest lit area as well.

Yes i do fear walking alone a night a lot. I stay in hostel and the toilets are on the other end of the corridor. There are huge pillars in the route. It takes a lot of courage to use them. I always fear that someone is standing behind those huge pillars. it takes a lot of guts to break the fear.

Yes I do..I am afraid to say that there are some people out there that want to prey on other people and knowing this it scares me even more.If you walk at night even a man should walk in pairs.Its just common sense...Stay safe!
