I am taking now Associate in Computer Technology a 2 year course which is ladderize course of BS Information Technology. I myself prefer to take the 2 year course because I think that when i finish the course I can still continue and make it to 4 years. If I did that and then a problem occur and I stopped studying its okey because I am finish already and graduated a 2 year course. In ACT I think that the major subjects that I will take in a 4 year course is all in my curriculum while the BSIT they divided the major subjects and add minor subjects to make it 4 years. So what do you think? If there will be a 2 year course for some other courses do you think it would be better?

Yes, actually logicaly if you think in that way, its true. But practically its not a good idea to do a two years course then go for 4 years. Even after you complete a 4 years course no one gives a damn about your degree because u haven't followed a proper protocol for the course. And after 2 years you have to complete 3 years graduation that means you are spending one more year to complete your graduation. And if you do not complete then it depends on market requirement, you will get a job but not a good package.

Look I don't what they are thinking or what are there plans. The same thing I would like to say about Agricultural Engineering degree. this degree don't have any future in market but still government is running such courses. The reason still no one knows. And the same thing is with 2 yrs degree, you are talking about.
