ARGHHH Foot cramp!!

Oh my God the pain of foot cramp is awful! I just got one in my left foot and the bugger after turning my toes ways I never knew they could go then ran straight up my leg striking my calf muscle ow ow ow. Does anyone know why this happens? I wonder if its the cold? It happens a lot when I scuba dive in the cold british sea but I can soon fix it by pulling my fin tips towards me, its much harder to control the spasm on land I find. So any neat tricks to stop the pain traveling? I'd love to hear them. x

I have had foot cramps. And you are right they are no fun. I have no real neat tricks. But I did try one from the DIE HARD movie. Fists with your toes. I tried it, and it actually worked.
