I am just wondering because my box turtle has been sleeping for a few months (except for when I make him wake up). He also has not eaten in a long time, and I want to make sure he is ok. Do you know what time of the year, and for how long pet, box turtles hibernate. Thank you in advance for any help or advice you may have.

Actually, yes it helped a lot! I need to get him warmed up, he has probably been cold for too long!

for some reason my red eared sliders never hibernated in the 6 years i've had them. Maybe sliders don't hibernate. Anyways, in your case you might want to bring him to a vet just in case.
