school uniforms

If your public school requires uniforms then someone with a little bit of a brain is looking out for you. They are preventing you from running around looking like a complete idiot by wearing baggy clothes and tennis shoes you can't afford, or even if you can afford them someone played on your stupidity and severely over charged you for them. If schools want to teach history then they should practice what they preach and learn from history and go back to "Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child".
