I like to pop pimples and black heads(i know read on)

Hey, it's my job!! It's what I studied to do. Well that and other things :) I'm an esthetician (beauty therapist). I give a lot of different treatments, different facials. But I must say that having a client come to me for a deep cleansing is my favorite. To be able to clear all those blocked pores and see the difference after is great. I know alot of people out there who do it themselves but please be very careful as you can scar your skin. Here are a few tips: 1. Always cleanse your skin before, otherwise you can just end up spreading dirt into the open pores and infecting the area. 2. Always, whenever you have the time, steam your face before. If you do not own a face steamer, then do it the old fashion way and fill a sink up with boiling water, cover your head with a towel and put your face over the sink. Steaming should be done for no longer than 10 minutes. This opens pores so you will not have to squeeze so hard to get the blackhead out. This is what can lead to scars. 3. Always, always, wrap your fingers with cotton. Not tissue as this is too harsh for the skin and could cause irritation. Never, ever use your nails. What happens here if you do this is, you extract your skin's natural oil and this also leads to scarring and infection. 4. Then if you have time after, apply a mask. If you either don't have the time or the mask, splash your face with cold water to close the pores again. 5. One more thing that is very important. When extracting a pimple, first make sure it is ready. By ready I mean full of puss.If it is not full of puss it is not ready. When sqeezing if the puss does not come at the slightest sqeeze,again, it is not ready. Do not continue. If it does pop, you must keep gently squeezing until fresh blood comes out. First you will see the puss, then some clear liquid mixed with blood, then the fresh blood. That is when you know that you have taken out the infecton entirely. If you don't get to this point, it can either develop all over again or it can also cause an infection where more than one pimple will appear in the area. Hope this helped in some way:)

hi autunno, you're so not alone! i love popping blackheads and pimples, everytime im with my boyfriend i also search his back..he sweats alot from work so i always look for them LOL he hates that i have a thing with popping them so we made a deal, for every one i pop i have to tickle his back for 2 minutes HAHA so since we made that deal hes always asking me to look!
