well, i'm addict of online dating..lol as in, everyday i will go to internet cafe to chat.. i have several chatmates but they only come and go..after a few emails, they gone, maybe it doens't work that time.. i had also a serious boyfreind from that particular dating site, he's fun, very sweet, generous that actually he's sending me money to be my allowance, but time really change, after an almost a year we broke up, maybe because of long distance..yes, he had plans to meet me, we thoughts about marraige but maybe it's because of his job, very busy that time, so still don't work, but were still friends till now.. i had also a chatmate from another dating site, actually we meet, he's sweet, with humor, kinda old but handsome, and after a few weeks when he go home, until now we dont have communication anymore,but still i'm hoping for good, that one day i will marry a foreigner, because i really wanted a foreigner husband..i'm done with Filipinos, i got hurt, left me with nothing but a child.. But, i have friends who is successfully marry to a foreigner, i have one best friend who'se in the US right now, with her husband and they have one child, also i have one friend who has a bf british and they already engaged.. i'm not telling that all is good having that kind of dating, they are some who end with happiness and also some who end with nothing.. but we have to be careful with those people, we dont know them yet that much.. good luck

I know the feeling... so after the time it took me to get over my heart break I decided to try online dating cause there was no way that I was gonna meet anyone here in this small town so I tried this site called Plenty of Fish which is completely free and sure enough I went on a few dates and now I'm seeing this really really sweet guy who is awesome. You have to be careful meeting people off line though I always had a back up and met in a very very public place and had to call a friend at a specific hour to let them know that everything was going okay and that I was fine with whoever I was with. So dating online can be fun if the right precautions are taken. Hope this helps you out!

I've thought about trying it, but I'm too scared. I'm not good at the whole dating thing. I would rather stay in a bad relationship than face constant rejection. I get that a lot. Not only am I a single mother of 3, I am a big girl. Guys just don't go for that sort of thing. Anyway, back to the subject. I know quite a few people who have met online. My brother and his fiancee did. They seem totally happy.
