I just watched the post-superbowl episode of the Office. I was really not impressed with the writing. I mean, half the reason I watch the Office is to see Jim and Pam's romance. The other half, I want to see some whackyness from Dwight or Michael. Jim apparently told Pam's dad that he never had any doubt with Pam, and Pam's dad decided that he never felt that way with Pam's mom...nice one, Jim! This interaction lasted all of thirty seconds. And Dwight's fire alarm was funny, but this could have been a bit more tactful. I wish the Office was as good as the 3rd season. Sigh.
