i need advice on this one

I like this guy we went out twice already we will be working in the same company
and he likes me and i like him to but he wants to take things slow right now he told me he wants to start as Friends and then buddies and that it will lead to a relationship already what do you think does this mean? he also told me that he allows me to date and have my freedom he said he does not want to rush on a relationship right away cause he said the faster you go on it wont last i need a good advice on this one, thanks so much

Maybe he just want's to now more about you because in that kind of way, he will know what to to for you when you are in a bad mood or in a good mood. He is also right that you start as being friends because you will also know each other better in that kind of way. A lot of people rush on their relationship that's why a lot have failed on their relationships. It takes patience for a relationship to work but it also takes a lot of things. You will learn these things the longer your relationship goes by. Hope you like my advice. Hehehehe. From a 18 year old boy

Ok, it could be many things. He could be trying to keep his options open, meaning he likes you but is on the lookout for other girls. But he could also really care about you and basically like he says, not take it too fast. I mean he sounds like he has good intentions though.

I have heard of this a couple of times. It means that he would like to take things slowly, he don't want to rush to have a relationship with you, he wants to be friends first with you and see what will happens next.. You got to know him first and that's what he wants, to know you first and see where it leads on the later part. So he doesn't want to be committed in short and takes things slowly.. OR
sometimes guys can be sensitive and say these things so girls won't get hurt that much for being dumped, it's the other way of getting dump. But it's mostly the first one. Don't wait for him, just go with the flow, live your life, don't live your life with him, guys don't like it! I hope that helps!
