What outdoor activities do you do during winter weekends?

During summer I find it easy to spend lots of time outdoors and the weekends go away just too fast. But during winter I find it all a bit more difficult. Yes, I go skiing from time to time, but I would not really go each and every weekend. Snow-hiking not being my favorite, I often end up just staying inside and reading a book. Which is very nice way to spend a day, but at the end of it I feel as if I would need a bit more outdoor activity. So, what about you, what do you do outside in that cold winter air?
