How many hours do you watch television everyday?

well it isnt that I watch the tv all day, but our tv is on all day...LOL, between hubby getting up early and turning on the news, then I get home from dropping my son off at school, then I turn on the tv for my one year old... and then when my son gets home he watches tv for a bit and then goes play his PS2... and when hubby gets back home it is back to the news....LOL and now at night I come on here while hubby watching tv... since I am in the living room I just listen..LOL

Hi dropofrain, frankly speaking I actually don’t know exactly how many hours I have spent on watching tv programs every day. Nowadays I have cut down the time of watching tv. I prefer to read online local news, nationwide news as well as the world news. Anyway I still would spend half an hour to watch my favorite tv series during weekdays while having dinner. I would let the tv to keep on playing another tv series for another one hour while doing mylot posting until 10:30 pm. I would have a pause for a short while to watch the scene if it is really attractive. During weekends I would spend two hours or so watching my favorite programs. Sometimes I watch movies and most of the time I like watching entertainment show which would bring a lot of laughter and amusement Happy posting and have a nice day.

I do not watch too much TV anymore. I used to watch it a lot but these past few years I can't seem to find much that I even like! I really like "Chuck" but not too much else. I think the new show "Howie Do It" is hilarious too. Our television is usually on when my husband & teenage son are home because they like to watch it a lot. I'm usually on the computer during the day & I have the TV off, except for the morning news.

I watch 1 hour of television a week because watching too much is a waste of time. You could be doing something more productive. Some programs are educational but most are just for entertainment. Some documentaries and educational shows are definitely worth watching though.

I rarely watch TV because I easily get bored sitting down in front of television doing nothing. But if there's a chance to watch TV, I only watch for 2 hours.

During work days, I normally watch TV for about 2-3 hours. But on weekends, it's completely a different story. If I don't have to go out, I can watch the television all day long. I'm such a TV addict. I think it's a good source of entertainment.

not that much really. Maybe about an hour a day. The bulk of my "tv" watching would be watching my taiwanese shows online. It's more up-to-date than those airing in my country.

I have only four hours to watch television programme. Two hours at noon and the other two hours at night. All of my time was spent in working. I have a busy day so from Monday till Friday I only have a little hours to watch my television. At saturday and sunday I prefer to play games or watch dvd movie in my computer than watch television programme. My local tv broadcast present bad quality programme that not educate the viewer. So it give a negative effect for the children to watch it. Keep post Happy myLotting...

i see for 5,6 hours daily or sometimes when holiday, tv will be on only continously from morning to evening. and i see continiously by doing household works. i will also see late night also. it is good source of entertainment for so many people and we can get more knowledge with tv and can know the news from news channel soon after the incident happened. now a days we can see live news,which attracts me more other than seeing serials or sports , in tv.

on the weekend,i will spend more time on the television.Because my husband used the computer on weekend and i had to watch TV.now i am on line and i will watch the film on the computer.when i need to coax my baby to sleep, i will open the television and watch for one hour.

Hi there I usually just watch TV for a couple of hours or so in the evening. It depends on the program you're watching that makes it an idiot box or a source of entertainment, When I'm flipping through channels to see whats on TV I find most of it is garbage these days. Programs like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and so forth are entertaining. I think here should be more shows like these. ~proudnana~

i watch television at lunch time till midnight. I'm watching while taking care of my kids, doing the laundry, cooking, eating lunch, snacks and dinner and even midnight snacks. except of course when taking a nap when my little angels sleep.

It depends...Some days I watch at least 4 or 5 hours possibly more and some days I watch just a bit to get the news,,It depends on how full my day is or if I have alot of errands to run.I know its alot of television on some days but I keep it on while I clean and do my daily house chores..It keeps me company when i am alone.I do not like such a quiet house...
