what is the best gift to give your mother this Valentines Day?

Well, it is Valentine's day so I guess I'm just in time for this one. I just got home from work a little bit ago to find that my 15 yr old gave me the best valentine I've had in a long while. To me this is not a big holiday and I do very little. I usually buy some little token for all my girls and the grandkids and that is it. My oldest daughter always got me flowers but I convinced her finally to stop...she has kids and needs the money. My 15 yr old is not rebellious or anything but being a typical teen, does not often give out hugs unless I hug her first...that sort of thing. I miss the days when I was her world....now her friends get all that affection. Well tonite I came home from work and she had picked up the house and on the table was a card made out of construction paper and written in crayon. It said "mom, I hope this puts a smile on your face. It has been a long time since I've seen one of these in this house. Love and hugs." On it she drew a heart with a smile face and arms and legs. Made me smile and drip out a couple of tears as well. She was asleep but I went down and kissed her cheek anyway.

My mom passed away 2 years ago if she's still alive i would tell her I LOVE YOU MOM and i thank her for everything.

Hmm..I think what I am going to give my mom is a scrapbook of our pictures together with my other siblings. Me, my mom and my other siblings are not together because my two brother is with my aunt and my other sisters have their own family. Maybe keeping something that will make her feel that eventhough we are far away from her, there are lots of memories she can treasure. We will never forget her because if its not from her we will not be here. Valentines does not mean for those two lovers its also a day to show your parents, relatives, friends and maybe for your enemies(if you want, its time to reconcile ). Valentines means love so..you have love in any kind of relationship :-)
