do you want boy or a lady dentist or it really doesnt matter?

i have been in a dental clinics several times. and i eveb know some dentists personally. i am very particular in choosing one because i choose a lady dentist.. its in my thinking that when a lady dentist cleans my teeth, she really cleans it well.. and when i needed a filling, she would really fill it good.
how about you, does it matter or not?

i am a lady and i never bother about dentist gender. i can be comfortable with male dentist also. one year back i have showned to one our family male dentist .he is also in my age and i never think that he was male. he is after all a doctor and i feels him as god or he is like my parents to me.
if i have to go for any ladies problems, then i will go to any lady gynec .then i feel comfortable with a female doctor than male doctor . but for dentist ,anyone is ok ,male or female .

well maybe im just used to the feeling of a lady dentist cleans my teeth and comfortable to them. as long as he or she is good maybe it doenst matter. ok i will try to have my teeth cleaned to a male dentist and observe the difference.

Hello ianshiela. To me it doesnt matter if its a male or a female dentist just as long as she/he does their job well.

I've had both but prefer a female dentist. Her soft spoken voice is comforting and it seems that because of her smaller hands, she can do the procedures with more finness. I switched from a male doctor about 6 months ago and am very happy with my choice.
