what is a great R&B band?

I love R&B. especially older music like silk and boys II men. i also enjoy listening to pretty ricky. I need more songs to enjoy on my ipod. i am getting bored of listening to the same songs and bands and i really would love to find more artists i would enjoy to listen to.

I have a ton of older stuff in my binder but I'm on the road so I'll give you what I can remember. Anything from Al Green is gold. Marvin Gaye is top notch. Keith Sweat has some really good stuff. Jodeci has some excellent stuff. I can't remember all of the artists on the album but the Above The Rim soundtrack has some classics like H-Towns - Part Time Lover. If you have limewire downloaded onto your computer you can put R&B on your search and it will turn up some stuff that I can't remember. One of my favorite things to do is log on and just download all types of music and just keep listening until I find some things I like. When I get home I'll look through my binder and see what else I can dig up for ya.
