I am a girlfriend of the most amazing man ever! we have been together now for a little over a year. He is so amazing, my boyfriend has a five year old son, who i absolutely adore. He is the best father, i only wish that i could be even close to as good of a parent as he is. I have no children of my own so i find it somewhat difficult to relate with my boyfriend on this subject although i have been taking care of his son for the last year. My boyfriend always makes sure that we get alone time with eachother every single night, we always eat dinner together and we always tell eachother everything, we keep no secrets. i believe that keeping NO secrets is key to a healthy relationship. Although there are things about my past relationships that he doesn't know i am not keeping a secret because he told me that he doesn't want to know becuse it doesn't matter because we are together and that's all that matters and i agree. We have talked alot about marriage lately, i am so excited. My boyfriend is the one who first brought marriage up and he is comfortable talking about it which makes me feel wonderful. All the guys that read this some advice for you is when you get a new girlfriend keep your past and hers in the past, if its brought into the present it only causes problems. Listen to her, I know you've heard this before but its true. Dont't under estimate kisses and holding hands. Tell her why you are with her and why you love her on a regular basis without her having to ask, we could here you say the same reasons why everyday but it never gets old, we just like hearing it. I hope someonegets something from this, lol. let me know...
