Anyone familiar with joomla

Today my department had a course on website development using joomla. I felt really short on this. It is not in my area of expertise but I want to learn since it is something new. Can anyone suggest any simple tutorial website on using joomla. It is better if it is for dummy like me.

Joomla has been around for quite a while now. It is one of the content management systems that have become very popular with webmasters. A simple search will no doubt reveal a number of tutorials on the system. Cheers!!

I learned Joomla a year and half ago. During that time I'm asking the same question as what you are asking right now. I just searched online Joomla and it gave me alot of website. After researching it online I found an answer. After a day or two learning Joomla, I sense great output and success using this Open Source Program.
Using Joomla, you will be able to create an eye catching website. Examples of website you can create in Joomla are: Online store, Online reservation system, Online chat, blog, forums and so many to mention. The program is user friendly and easy to configure.
