What's the difference between Yahoo Messenger and Skype?

Can anyone, who have more knowledge, tell me the different between these two, as means for communication? Why more people prefer Skype when come to business chat? TQ

Apart from great Video and Audio quality ... the conference call in Skype is superb ,because it lets 20 people at a time to be there at the same time ,whereas others dont have such features ,even if they have its not of top quality as skype ,along with that other features helps business people in various other ways

Really? So it is really great. By knowing your information I think Skype is better than Yahoo Messenger. I'll gonna try it later. Yahoo's voice chat is no good and that is based in my experience.

I'm also curious with this two. I just use YM as my means of communication. And from these comments I think that skype is really better than YM. So Is skype free to use like the YM?

I haven't tried communicating using Skype, but they said the main advantage it has among other messengers is it's quality in both voice and video. It's better and clearer. Happy myLotting!

I am using Yahoo Messenger since til then. I never tried using Skype so I don't know what are its features and the difference between the two. Enjoy Mylotting!
