I would like to mention our great producer director Raj Kapoor for his great hindi films like barsat, awara, shree420, sangam, mera nam joker, bobby, satyam sivam sundaram, etc. etc. The songs of all these films are very good. To remember them I mention some. Awara hoon, dost dost na raha, jane kaha, all bobby songs, mera jhoota he japani etc. etc. Most of these songs(old ones) sung by Mukesh, that I forgot to mention in my previos discussion.

Raj Kapoor had a great sense of music that is why you see such melody flowing out from his films. You must have noticed that the tradition of lilting music achieved a smooth transition when he decided to take Laxmikant-Pyarelal instead of Shankar-Jaikishan duo.The quality and melliflousness of the songs never suffered. And to me Mukesh realised his full potential in Raj Kapoor films only. You name it and there are unforgettable songs to remember.

I also like songs of martin's and Enrique. And as you said I also like Hindi film songs very much. The olden days hindi songs were best. The singers like mohd rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata, asha etc. were great. I also like the new songs in rab ne bana di jodi, om shanti om, ghajini, dhoom1,2 etc. My favourite hits in hindi film are Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge, kuch kuch hota hai, dil to pagal hai, kaho na pyar hi, krrish, kal ho na ho, kabhi kushi kabhi kum etc.

I was pleasently surprised by the range of oldtimers mentioned in your reply. You have named all the singers I simply love to listen to. They are a soother in times of distrss and meloncholy and depression and times you are on ahighi.e. the time you have achieved something remarkable and are feeling on top of the wotld. The english songs take a back seat to hindi songs.Great.

That's great to know that you love hindi film songs.Mohabbatein has meliflous quality about its music and songs and lyrics as well.A great packege. I love to hear MariahCarey and Celine Dion as when I can find time. There's no denying the fact that hindi music occupies the bulk of time devoted to music which is invariably spread over short spans during the entire day, evening and the early night.
