Hi Mylotters
Don't you think that regional movies in India are better than the
much-hyped bollywood movies. I think the govt. encourages them only to
get the taxes.
If you begin to watch movies from the regional languages you begin to realise that.
I have watched the movie "Katha Parayumbol" which was remaked in tamil as "Kuselan"
and now in hindi as "Billu Barber". But these versions are completely different from the original. You can see the diffences by watching the three.
And there are too many movies made in bengali and malayalam which are going to all the film festivals around the world.
Most of the films made in Kerala and Bengal always has a strong script.
I prefer the regional movies over bollywood movies. i just can't sit and watch bollywood movies.

I accept the movies from kerala got lot of recognition around the world and in india. But in bollywood also made some of the world class movie, for example the amirkhan films like tare zamin par, mangalpande, and i liked one film that is wednesday and it is directed and screenplayed beautifully.

thanks for your response.
I haven't seen these films. So can't say anything about them.
But i'll sure see it.
And i don't think that all films from kerala are good.
Comparatively even the commercial movies from kerala have good scripts and it's
related to life.

If at all any worth mentioning movies are are to be named in India, they are the regional movies.Bollywood is drab and the movies are if no value barring the movies of Aamir.
