I know almost all of us hates to see them, but I want to be specific on it. So tell me mylotters what is in a cockroach that you hate the most? Me what I hate is that no matter how hard you try exterminating them and their kind they just keep on coming back.

I don't think I've ever seen one in real life (thankfully), but here are some things that WOULD freak me out if I did see one:
1.) HOW THEY MOVE - fast and scuttley (I don't think that's a word.. But if it was a word, it would be made specifically for cockroaches!)
2.) THEIR SIZE - they look HUGE!
3.) The fact that they can outlast a nuclear war (doesn't anyone else find this a bit scary?)

Cockroaches and Twinkies
On a tangent, I don't know how true it is but I read that because of all the preservatives in them, a Twinkie will "outlive" it's wrapper. Now THAT is scary.
And if bling bling can be added to the Oxford English Dictionary, I see no reason for not adding scuttley as well. Because that is exactly what they are.... *shudder*

First off, I hate that they move so fast...that freaks me out. Second, I hate that they get into EVERYTHING! Third, it freaks me out knowing that they will crawl in your ears or mouth while your sleeping. Thankfully in our apartment we don't have them so I don't have to deal with them.

I guess the idea that it crawls and that it flies and that they are everywhere even in the dirtiest area of your house that makes a cockroach most hated.

I really wonder, how on the earth i am responding such a dictation, as i am even afraid of hearing the word, ***** (i dont even want to type it), totally its just disgusting and frightening and some major issues issues have hapnd in my life because of ***...but thats the reason i am making my daughter friendly with all insects, she infact catches ****, i am quite quite that she is not repulsive and that is quite a different aspect that many of us dont have

To me, they are just visually repulsive. Their legs have jagged little spikes sticking out of them, and their bodies have little armored sections that wiggle around. I don't know what's worse, the young nymphs that have no wings, or the adults that can fly. Either way, I'd rather see a good old American Cockroach, than a German Cockroach any day. The German cockroaches are usually what you get from being extremely dirty- they're smaller, faster, and are extremely hard to get rid of. American Cockroaches are a natural phenomenon in many parts of the United States, like Florida. It's hard to explain to people from the northern U.S, that seeing a cockroach in a southern state is about as common as seeing a dog. I rarely see them in my home, but only because we live in a rural area that is plentiful with the Huntsman Spider. Cockroaches are a favorite food of these huge spiders- so you either have the spiders, or the ugly roaches! I really hate seeing both, but I'd personally rather have the spider and know that it's "on patrol"!

that thing about german cockroaches and cleanliness it not really true. they do not live in wild populations, so they are always associated with the prescence of humans. if you have moisture (ie: a kithchen sink, leaky toilet, gap in the caulk around your tub), and food in your pantry, you can get them just as easily as the next guy. often times they are brought in....and the #1 culprit? plastic grocery sacks. so, for all of you that keep those things under the sink for later use- throw them away at once!
