I am sorry to hear that Cjay! I have hearing a lot about PL for all bad reasons. Most are not satisfied with the recycling of point thing. I am not into it and can tell you little about it though. I also heard that it keeps changing its rules which rather should not be to live up to a good brand name. No worries dear. I am sure you will make it up soon. Let go, have fun and I can give you other authentic sites, which pay you less but pay you sure. Love you dear.

hello cjay, its sad hearing that you are not enjoying platinum lounge. At least twice a day, the gorilla gives out a "party" that is giving higher points for every posts. it runs wild and just for 10 minutes or so. but points can be 800, 8000 or 80000. the points you need for the next rank keep on getting huge because of that. people above and below you might be able to catch some big points, that's why, you are left behind. The secret there is you have to know when the gman will come out. or have some friends buzz you on YM, if the party is on going. anyway, if you just change your mind, I'm willing to help take care

I'm really disappointed as well. My points went done from 4.7 million to 200,000 and they reduced the number of people in the paying rank. From pro to honor roll again. I will stay in platinum just to chat with my friends but no more waiting for gman I guess.

Hmm... I know nothing about PL but from what I read from your other responders, it sure looks like it is making it harder and confusing for users.

I am inclined to agree with you on this although many people may disagree with me. However since joining this site several months ago I have only reached payout twice and for all my efforts recieved a tiny amount of $3 which by the time it is converted amounts to very little. I too recieved messages from PL saying their deleting my points which I found a little bit ridiculous considering I have seen numerous users there do far worse that me. PL accused me of making three duplicate posts....it amazes me the amount of users on that site who post the same thing about ten times in one lounge....how do their points grow????!!!!! Sorry about my grumble but that's just how I feel. I too have given up with this site. At least I can be honest here and am actually valued and rewarded for my time both in terms of making new friends and a little extra money on the side.

they are recycling points ...Thta's the reason the points are constantly changing..your rank is also not stable, many members also want to earn cash that is why they keep on posting every now and then...So your rank my go down or up depending on the members itself not on PL...they don;t have control over your rank..and besides they are now paying 4x times per month instead on 2x ...

I do not know much about Pl and hence really can't say too much about it Cjay. I have had experiences in the past on different sites which have given me enough amount of frustration more in terms of the time i spent there than on te money i lost. This is one place which has given me a great amount of satisfaction in every way and more than that i have sought.

i am slightly wary of this concept of online earnings,so i have not ventured into anything other than mylot.i was skeptical about mylot but after receiving payments and making such wonderful,i think i am here to stay,though i am forced to take frequent breaks(personal problems)

Hello Cjay. I still am a member and have not quitted yet, but it's true that's it's really getting hard to reach the next rank. I just wonder how others could make their points that big. I think they don't sleep. Some members there are rude and they talk negatively about mylot. How could they? They don't know what they're talking about. I already have friends there and would be missing them if I quit, so I'd just stay for greeting my friends and not for the rankings anymore. Have a great day my friend....

My wife on that site too and quit as well, she said she could never figure out how to get to the next level and had to constantly start over. She was angry she spent so much time on there for nothing. Time she could have spent on mylot or Gather.

You are right my friend,I lost my interest in Platinum Lounge.We the same experience with that site.I been active for few months and i got payment from that site.The points system that they giving away is hard to reach now and i find it so hard.I have friends also who give up that site.Anyway thanks Platinum lounge.I am not enjoying that site anymore.

hiya CJay i'm still over on PL but just like you i got spanked recently i finaly reached a payout rank and boom overnight i dropped down 'cause the cost went from 500 thousand to over 1.3 million that sucks A$$ i will still post from time to time like i do here on mylot but i dont think i will refer others ... why would i promote a community i am not happy with? chat soon

Sorry to hear that Cjay. the last time i log into my account it says i only need 41000 points to get into the next level but the following day it say i need 92000 for the sank rank. i just get disappointed too with the site. is it fine with me if they recycle points but they should have the time when to do that so that i won't affect those who are nearing to hit the mark all of the sudden. Sorry to hear what you have undergone.

To be honest, platinum lounge has paid me for several times. I think around seven times. I even experience to become a lounge icon. But as the site continue to grow, it now became a very disappointing site. From MVP, i am now lounge varsity.Just imagine from seven dollars to 1 dollar.Isn't it disappointing?Yesterday, I have 4 million points in the site, but now since they recycled points, i only have 203 thousand. i have lost 3 million points and seven hundred points. I am aware of that recycling but it is a big points, i work hard for that then it will just be forfeited. I am still confuse if I am going to continue in the site or not. I am still confuse. But I will have a try for the site. But I will still more focus here in mylot rather than in platinum lounge.

I just found out about Platinum Lounge and registered as soon as someone said it's a great site to earn extra cash. Well, I didn't get further than registered myself because in first minutes I found this site annoying.
