India definitely has the capability to beat that record.
But it is very much doubtful whether they will. They raise up huge at one time, suddenly fall down the other time. They are bit inconsistent.
If they all play together, there is very much possibility. Also, the coaches don't do their job perfect I think. (Or they are not allowed to do their job. There is much politics in the BCCI, you may know)

hi vishwaskg Australian team have won 21 odi games in a row two times in history, once under the captaincy of steve waugh and once under ricky ponting. breaking that record will not be easy as indian's have a tour of new zealand now and beating new zealand in all matches will not be a easy task for them.

I think the continuous victory number for Australia is 16 (twice) and if I am not wrong, both the times..i.e the 17th match, they lost to India.
India has the capability to over come that...What do you think about the outcome of the next match?
Happy mylotting!Have a nice day

Looking at the kind of run India is having i think Srilanka series will be a whitewash match, but the good thing about Dhoni's comments is that ,he said he is not looking for any records as such and is willing to give other reserve players a chance ,but these reserve players will also have that Positive pressure on them and surely do their best ,so thats why i think India will win the next 2 ODIs too.

well Australia have made 16 but i feel it is too early to talk about India beating that record. Because the next series is in newzealand where it will be tough conditions for all players. But surely India is playing splendidly now and let us hope that India continues its form and beat that record

Its 16 wins in the tests & 21 wins on a trot in the ODIs.For India its a far far proposition to beat that record.Lets hope for the best & I want India there at the top.
