Can you see the stars in the sky at night where you live?

Where I used to live I noticed them every time the sky was clear. I have only been here in the city again for about a week and a half. I have not really paid any attention yet on whether or not I can see them. I used to be able to when I lived about 10 miles from here a few years ago, so I imagine that I still can.

From the province where I came from, the night sky is beautiful but not as bright as before. We can still see the stars. However, if you go farther north, the sky is awesome! Here south, there are almost no stars because of light pollution. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I live in a semi rural area on the high plains of Texas and there are lots of stars visible. Not many city lights out here to glaze the sky with artificial light. I don't go out and star gaze much, but I can't imagine living an a place where I couldn't see the stars when I looked up at night.

It's very bad that you could not see the stars in the sky at night. I think it's because you live in a city. Now a days pollution and big buildings in big town are preventing us from enjoying the scenic beauty of the sky at night.

Yes, I can see the stars here where I live, not every night but most of the times I can. The place I lived earlier, the sky were really clear which helped to see the stars even better.

I can clearly see the stars at night here in my county. It is always clear every night. But, when their is a storm coming, we can see even a single star. It is nice to look to the sky and see all the stars clearly. It is kinda romantic when your in a date and both of you are wtching the clear sky and seeing all the stars twinkle like shiny diamonds in the heaven. Hehehehe...

I live in the Philippines...specifically in Cebu city..more specifically in lapu-Lapu City. lol. We actually have an open space here in my place, and we could just look up and see the stars. I remember last December 2007...me and my friends had our Christmas party outside my home ... we lay in the grass, stared at the stars and counted the falling stars! We even fell asleep there, under the sky. God, I miss my friends.

Yes offcourse!!! I can see stars from where I live. And every one can see. And sometimes I can see a single stars due to clouds. hehehehe. I like watchin falling stars.

I live in China,sometimes there are many stars shining.These years,the air pollution reduced.The sky is clearer than before,and i can see more stars.
