Do you think the Twilight movie gave justice to the book?

I read the book and fell in love with it. In fact, I finished the book in just one day. When I found out later that there's a film adaptation, I was so ecstatic! However, I was a bit disappointed when I saw the movie. I'm in love with Robert Pattinson but I just think it fell short on everything. Sorry to say, I got so bored watching it.
Well, in all fairness.. some tell me that if you watch the movie first, you'd appreciate it more. So I guess, I'm just a bit biased.
Well, what's your opinion on this? Is the movie any good? :)

I loved the books, and was looking forward to the movie when it came out. I thought the movie captured the essence of the story well. I'll admit that I left wanting more, but there is only so much that they can do in a movie.
I thought of it along the lines of the Lord of the Rings movies. Having read the books first, there is so much more to the story than the movies showed. But the movie did show the story of Frodo taking the ring to the mountain brilliantly. The Twilight movie, in my opinion, showed the story of Bella meeting Edward, revealing them as vampires, meeting the 'Meat-eaters' and even introducing us to Jacob Black very well.

Yes, probably there's a disadvantage to reading the books first then watching the movie. You tend to have high expectations.
For me, I also loved the scene with Bella and James in the ballet studio. I think that was action-packed and it helped me visualize the scene.
