should cricket replace hockey as india's national game?

With a nation full of such a passion for Indian cricket why hockey be still India's national game? Why cannot cricket replace hockey? what do you feel?

cricket is Indias most popular game among the masses and because of cricket many games have been overshadowed and if it becomes national game we cannot see players from other games and hockey must be our national game as we shouldnot forget the history of hockey.

I don't think so. It was Hockey that made the Indian presence known to the world. A series of recent wins in cricket cannot entitle Cricket to take the position of "national Game of India."
