myLot or cleaning?

Do you ever find yourself avoiding your chores because you want to work on myLot? I try to get my daily chores out of the way but I usually find myself at the computer and intermittently getting up to take care of a duty that I need to do. I also have to care for my son also. My family gets my attention first of course. How about you guys?

Thank you for your honest response dawnald. I know that food takes first place most of the time for me before I start on myLot and sometimes doing chores does have to wait. Take care.

I avoid chores at almost all cost. It isn't just the computer that I will use as a distraction or an excuse, I would rather do just about anything. When I do clean I want to just do it quickly and get it over with. It is easy though to get distracted and find ways to avoid doing the chores.

I can see where you are coming from. I appreciate that you replied honestly. There are times that I wish that I could forgo the chores but until I get a maid then I have to stick with the cleaning!lol. Getting distracted is definitely something that is easy to do.

my lot is not an obsession for me, yes I avoid my chores because I have work to do on the computer, and when it pays the money I need to pay my bills with it has to come first because there are deadlines, if I miss them I lose the work and they give it to somebody else the next time.

Have you been spying on me? That is exactly what I am doing right now...posting in MyLot instead of cleaning. I am busy not cleaning even as I type this... That is not to say that I let my house go to ruin. And my kids are at school so tending to them is not an issue. But I also work a full time job, and spending my whole day off doing dishes and laundry is not exactly what I call relaxing. There is nothing wrong with having a little down time. It's all a matter of balance.
