what year did you start surfing the net

I started using internet 8 years ago. At that time internet speed was too slow and 28.8 and 56K modems were only available, there wasn't any broadband connections available everywhere AOL and Internet were the only browsers i used and they were ofcourse not too safe at all. In early 2002 i started using broadband connection which was a great improvement.

Hi there kardooma,Interesting topic you have chosen,By far my favourite passtime is to surf the net,And in my case it's a fairly new event,I started surfing the net around two years ago,Which makes me a newbie really.I remember seeing bits and bobs of the net back in the day,It has changed dramatically with web2.0.There is a website called the wayback machine in which you can actually re-visit websites from years ago and it is interesting to see how the websites looked in those days.

I'm surfing Internet for the past one year. I was new to the Internet at that time and I was struggling even to send a mail. But, now I can teach about internet to all my friends. I'm getting deeper into internet now-a-days....
