what are children capable of!!!!

i used to always hate when people would say eee the children of today making them out to be bad but after what i've just read i feel like saying it i'm disgusted. i dont know all the facts as i read it off another forum site but what i do know is a woman found a group of kids some as young as ten kicking and trying to roast two puppies over a fire!!! im disgusted and very upset by what i've read. luckily the puppies are fine they both just have singed hair and one has a hernia the woman who found them are took them to the RSPCA and their looking after them thankfully i cant believe anyone could do this never mind children.

I am not quite sure why children act the way they do, I should probably know the reason considering I am only now leaving the children/teenage era of my life.
However, and very sadly, you are correct, people of today children especially just want attention. We just want to get out way, and they are willing to go to any step. If only they could use that persevering potential for something more.

I believe that children are capable of the most things adults are - but I don't think that children are worse today when it comes to do cruel things with animals - I guess there was just as many awful things happening 50 years ago or 100 years ago. The thing is that now it's in newspapers and all over the Internet and animals are often seen like "persons". I mean that 50 years ago animals wasn't "worth" as much as they are today - don't know if it makes sense to you, but this is my opinion. I still think it's wrong to do such a thing, but I know most kids nerev should even think of the idéa.

Yeah that is just wrong. I think that this topic has nothing to do with kids in general. Its hard to believe though that a child would do such a thing. You see adults do stuff like this but a child.

That's absolutely disgusting! I'm glad that the puppies are ok, though. I wish I knew what makes kids do those types of things. Sad to say it...but there's definitely something wrong with those kids...whether it be their upbringing or that there's something mentally wrong with them that makes them think it's ok to abuse another living being that way. Hopefully the police were called and charges were filed against those children. Because at even 10-years-old, they should have known better. I have an 11 1/2 year old boy, an almost-10 year old boy, an almost 7 year old daughter, a 5 year old step-son and a 3 year old daughter. And NONE of them would ever think to do that to any other living being. I've raised them all to be respectful of all living things (and of peoples property).
So, maybe in this case, it has to do with the way they were raised?....I don't know. :-(
