What is it to be human?

I think the main quality I look for in a person is how responsible they are. I understand completely that life is spontaneous and we all make mistakes. I understand how ignorant we all are, but I will be inspired by someone who is responsible. How do you define human or good humans? What do you look for in a person?

Well there is always the science definition . But I don't think that is what you wanted. I think you were more interested in the Good part of your statement. To me I guess a good person is one who is caring and respectful of all life and lives the Golden Rule, " Do on to others ans you would have them do on to you."

Haha, what is the science definition to you? Respect is a very great quality also. I find that that is one quality that takes you far... along with appreciation. They all pretty much inter relate.

I agree, resposiblity is a really good wuality to have. Plus if your resposible, then qualities like honesty and trustworthiness, loyality and love are part of the package. So Resposiblity is a really good wuality to have. Also I like people who are funny. Funny people are more enjoyable to have around. But they cant be so funny that they dont take life seriously.

Hey, I agree with you completely. I like funny people too, but only if they can laugh at themselves, while taking life seriously. That is another responsible quality. Thanks for sharing.
