My husband and I work really hard to make sure that we pay our mortagae on time in the full amount every month. We thank god have never been late. Now my hubby is on layoff, for a while now, and I am unemployed. So we have dipped into our mortagage savings to pay it everymonth. We wanted to save that money for a down payment, and reduce our payment. Now that we are coming into a little bit of crisis, I called our lender and asked if there was some type of releif for us. They said no. Why? Becuase we pay our mortagae on time, and because they stopped accepting unemployment as a vaild form of income. So their is no help for us until we stop paying our mortage. Its not fair. We are resposible and we get no help. People who arent resposible get all the help in the world. I ask you, is this fair or unfair?

It is the same circumstances hubby and I are in. I was never late then they cut off my workers comp 1700 a month.( which has been since Nov.) I called them immediately they wouldnt even take a partial payment and said they couldnt help me until I was 3 months behind. Not that we could make the payment anyhow. Now hubby has been laid off we have been without income for 3 weeks waiting for his unemployment to come in. I have had constant comminications with them and still they can not help us. They asked if I could borrow the money I just laughed and said are you kidding me? In march they will be calling in my loan I am not able to pay them what they want. I asked if I gave them 5 thousand ( which i should receive for my backpay of workers comp in march) can they spread the other 3000 through the life of the loan they said NO.I am going to see a nuerosurgeon for my back and hubby has been hunting for work but nothing yet. We have come to the realization that we will lose of home, the brighter part is that we will still be together through all this turmoil. I wish you luck that is for sure.
