I stopped drinking water from the faucet a long time ago because it is always some report coming out about it beign unsafe and full of chemicals. I used to have a water filter, but lately I just drink bottled water. I don't know how long bottled water is going to stick with these commercial about water bottles being forever in a land field. Today I was running the water cleaning the dishes and the water just looked so clean and clear I thought to my self it looks good enough to drink so I was just wondering if anyone still drinks tap water.

I rarely drink water from the tap. There is always purified water from a hot and cold water dispenser and I have gotten quite used to that. Cheers!!

I couldn't wait to get my own spot that I can buy my own things also. I just asked because I just hear so many different views on tap water not being safe to drink.

I've never stopped drinking tap water - luckily, ours is pretty good - just as well since we pay enough in water rates (tho' I've swapped to a meter now & it looks to be far more economical) so the only water I buy bottled is the flavoured sparkling stuff.

Oh,that's good I just got sick of the quarterly reviews sent out by the city water department listing all of the chemicals in the water, and how the elderly, sick and young children shouldn't drink it.

Yeah I heard that also once but at least it's filtered as opposed to lead, mercury and the sort as claimed by the water department when they test the water.

I mostly drink bottled water. More for the convenience of it coming in a bottle then anything. When I am out of bottled water I will drink tap. I don't think there really is much difference in the two. As far as being cleaner I would say they are most likely about the same.

Yeah I like bottled water because of the convience of the bottle as well, If I'm extremely thirsty I will drink tap also reluctantly.

I would never drink water from faucet. It is dangerous to health because of the elements present to water, old rusty pipe lines and the nature to where water was being drawn. We prefer to buy water from reputable water refilling stations because it was treated and filtered for our safety. I will not be a miser for this, but water is important for daily consumption and is really needed by our body. That's the reason why we need to drink clean, filtered water to avoid sickness and diseases found by drinking water on just your faucet , straight from your water tank without filtering it.
