do you listen to the radio

or do you prefer to listen to a personal music player?
I like my ipod. I can't stand most of the songs on the radio.

no i never listen radio again i ussually listen music from my ipod or from tv if in tv there new song i search in internet to download thas song, coz in radio to much commercial break so i can't enjoy listen the song i love.

They have way to many commercials on the radio. and it always seems like all the stations play em at the same time!

i still listen to the radio. i have a favorite radio station that plays almost all the good songs that i want. im sticking to it. there are times the dj talks a lot but there are lots of dj's out there who talk with sense so in a way i also get to learn new stuff from them.

Yeah, I like the rock station near me because they talk a lot when I'm getting outta school, and its nice to laugh after a stressful day at school.

Yes,you are also right. Here in Nepal,there are more than 10 languages speak. my mother tongue is newari.Nepali is national language. So i understand newari,nepali and other languages also.So i just call variety to listen, cause radio boardcast not only nepali related songs but also hindi,english.So we have variety. Radio don't differentiate songs with jazz,county,metal instead of this.It calls different songs of nepali (classic,western,modern,pop).

not necessarily. usually the radio stations stick to about 100 songs tops (like 15 on hiphop stations) and repeat the process every day. on ipods theres almost limitless times you can hear new music over and over

It depends on the mood.... ^_^
sometimes, it gets boring to listen to songs over and over again... But in the radio, you can hear old songs and other kinds of songs...
But yeah, I also use my ipod more often... ^_^

I don't like regular FM radio anymore because they play awful music. I like personalized internet radio like pandora.com though.

yES, i AGREE, FAR TO MUCH COMMERCIALISATION GOING ON.
Most of the best Music (I feel ) is still uNDERGROUND, AND WILL PROBABLY STAY THERE
Obviously this is just my oppinion... and dont get me wrong... I dont hate the radio and some of the tunes are ok, but they play the tracks far too much and if you listen to the sdame station (as i do in wrk ) all day this can become very annoying.
