My daughter in law makes the best sushi rolls, but she has been over seas for some time and my 16 year old son is always asking me to make them. Firstly my daughter in law did not make them with any raw fish, but with tuna, crabmeat, chicken, cucumber etc.So I bought a pack and attempted to make them, rolling them was the fun part, even my 16 year old son (who hates cooking) was there with me having a go and trying to work out how to roll them properly, after the 5th sheet we kind of worked it out, I think it may be we need a little more experience. Do you ever make sushi and how do you make yours and what do you put in them?:)

I have made sushi before and after trying 3-4 times they turned out pretty edible! I prefer simple sushi types as sushi with salmon and avocado. It is easy to make them, all you need is rise, sea-eed and avocado/salmon. Cook rise in the water, add a special vinegar.

Yes I have made my own sushi before. At the previous organization where I worked in, I think we had 3 times sushi eating gathering. Someone cooked the Japanese rice, another cut the ingredients - cucumber, carrot, sausages, even mixed tuna with mayo...and some other ingredients which I have forgotten. All of us sat down around rectangular table with a plate each and we just made and rolled our own. We ate till we were full. It was fun back then
