For mylotters who are topic/ thread starters, what are your usual dicussions? 1 Situational - do you create topics/ discussion based on your daily experiences, our what happened to you within that particular day or the day before? 2 Multiple Choice/ Preference - you asked other mylotters if they like A or B? or if they prefer C or D instead? (do you want to dance or do you like to sing when youre happy? - kind of questions 3 Problem - tendencies of spilling-out your personal problem and getting sound advices 4 Favorites - movies, bands, songs, stories, books , etc... 5 6 FEEL FREE to add categories that suit you.

Hello Ysabel! When I was new here, I used to start a discussion which is somehow related to me like "long distance relationship", "online dating site and "mail - order - brides. But then as time goes by, I learned that I have to start a discussion where everybody could relate to, so I started to make a discussion like feelings, general discussions about what they do and simple questions where it's not hard for everyone to answer..

hi aisaellis, how are you doing? that's right, the first and foremost consideration would be: is my topic easier for everyone (if not majority) can relate and reply to? but i am not so creative in that. i rather respond than start my own. and if i start my own, it would be more like a "situational" topic.

I dun start discussions often, and when i start, most of them will fall under, 1,2 and 3.. haha =D I guess that's the more common ones of all and it's easier to get responses too.. hehe ^_^ Sharing of experiences will be great for discussions, because it allows mylot members to know more about us, and thus building a true friendship here ^_^ Also, thru sharing, we get to know one's character too ^_^

Hello kun2349, i am also more of a responder than a topic starter. Its quite easy to response to a given question, than create or make a question myself! I am not as creative as others are! hehehe... i am more of a "situational" though. But i respond more to discussions with multiple choices. definitely easier to reply! thanks for sharing!

Hi Tamara, i am more of a responder than a discussion starter too. For me, Its easier to reply when there's already a question, rather than think of a question or discussion mylelf! Cheers to you!

I'm more of a "do you...?" topic starter. I think it's good that people are able to comment as much as they want on the choices I provide and they give reasons why they fall under that category :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Yes, that is much more easier to respond! I would definitely reply to a topic or discussion like that because my time spent online is very limited. Thanks, Oyenkai! Cheers!

I've seen a lot of discussions opened by some members. But i have opened a discussion rarely in the recent times. I have to have a reason to open something. Or if some thoughts come about something i open it

There are mylotters who are: promoting their countries - talks about where they came from, how good and beautiful their place are global issues - not necessarily politics, but anything that concern about world economy, etc. For me i think i am more of the situational discussion starter. I based my discussions on what i experience on day to day basis. cheers! happy mylotting!
