I HAD A GOOD FRIEND WHOM I TRUSTED WITH MY LIFE.
SHE USED TO VISIT MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF OVER WEEKENDS AND DURING THE WEEK. AT ONE POINT MY SIXTH SENSE KICKED IN AND I STARTED FEELING UNCORMFORTABLE WHEN EVER SHE WAS AROUND.
I WAS RIGHT!! ONE MORNING AT 5h30 MY HUSBAND GOT AN SMS, HE WAS STILL SLEEPING AND I OPENED THE SMS, GUESS WHO IT WAS? MY FRIEND SMS'ING MY HUSBAND TO LISTEN TO A SONG PLAYING ON THE RADIO.
HE DID NOT TELL ME THAT SHE WAS SENDING HIM SMS'ES OR PHONED HIM, AFTER I READ THE SMS AND CONFRONTED HIM, HE ADMITTED THAT SHE DID PHONE HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES, LOOKING FOR ADVICE ETC...... I AM HER FRIEND WHY NOT PHONE ME WHEN YOU WANT ADVISE????
I PHONED HER THE SAME DAY AND SUGGESTED THAT SHE DOES NOT VISIT US ANYMORE, AND MY HUSBAND CHANGED HIS NUMBER!!!!
HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU? WHAT DID YOU DO?

Good thing, you followed your instincts. Ideally, your friend should be more comfortable to ask you for advice and not to your husband. Or she could talk to the both of you when asking for advice. You did the right thing to protect your family. Don't feel bad for telling her not to visit you anymore. She is not a true friend anyway.

It's a good thing that your 'sixth sense' kicked in this early. Who knows what else could have happened.
That hasn't happened to me before [obviously I'm SO not married yet], but I applaud you for taking the action. Sometimes we need our friends to just back off a little bit, y'know? But I hope you and your friend work that one out soon.
