How to gain back the lost trust?

Well, being a wife i have experienced a lot..but what really bothers me is the trust that i have for someone that i love that i have lost in the process of loving and understanding him. It is very hard for me to gain it back but i really want to since he's also trying to start anew and be good? How should i start? What should i do? Thanks...
