To make up for the loss I had after not being able to log in for 3 weeks, I am planning on starting several discussions a day and only responding back on the day I started. This way I still respond but only to the ones that replied fast enough.
On regular days, I usually start 2-4 discussions a week. Sometimes it is too much and sometimes it is not enough.

I start discussions when I have time to respond to them almost immediately. I don't like leaving those who respond unattended for long. This means I am not starting many discussions. This week I have started three so far and that's almost as many as I did in the whole month in January. I haven't got round to responding to everyone on them yet as I am responding on friends discussions today and I must absolutely get back to them soon. I don't feel quite right until I have responded to everyone

Well, it really depends on my moods as to how often I will start a New discussion or not. I have my spurts where I will start some, and then other times just post back as well. Since I have a lot of times where I cannot be as active as other times in here it is hard for me to keep up with the discussions I am starting so that is why I start New ones sporadically as well. And since you seem to earn more from posting back than from starting a New discussion that is another reason why I do it this way as well.

I find it difficult to keep asking questions all the time and sometimes there are no interesting discussions that I would like to respond to.
You can discuss different things in a discussion so it doesn't always have to be a question. Good luck and happy mylotting!

It depends for me. There are weeks, I can start with 2 or 3 post and there also weeks where I just prefer responding!
I cannot post each day since I also can't think of any good post! Only when I want to ask questions from my friends here! ENjoy!

I start discussions very rarely.I only start discussions when i have doubts.I get answers for all my problems. When i just started mylot then i used to start many discussions. But that time i didn't rate or mark best responses. Now i write comments back to people, rate discussions and mark best responses.

Lately I don't start much of a discussion. I just start a discussion if i remembered on a certain topic or inquiry. Lately I find my self starting 2 to 3 discussions in a week and there are even weeks where i don't have any discussions at all. Starting a discussion really depends on the topic that i am interested of or curious of and needs other mylotters help over it.

Not very often, as I prefer to respond rather than start discussions. It's only when some topics come to mind, then I would post them.

I almost never start discussions here I am the responder kind. I like to read other peopleĀ“s posts and answer to them rather then start my own discussion. But sometimes when I have something interesting to share i do start a discussion here.

I haven't made a new discussion for about 2 months. I have no any idea now to become my discussion. So I just prefer to make a response to other myLotter discussion and I'm very enjoy it. I don't get upset when I can't produce a discussion.
Beside that I can also find a new user to ask them to become my friend. So myLot has much interest thing that I can spend in it.
Keep post
Happy myLotting...

I try to shoot for at least one a day that I am working on mylot. I seem to have trouble with the discussion part of mylot. I think about starting a discussion and than I think no I might offend someone or I feel that I do not have that many questions. I like to respond more than start. I was told I make more responding than starting a discussion so if I start one or two that is usually it for me. Happy mylotting and have a good day.

Hey snam! I almost never start discussions! But, that is just
me! I can never think of good topics so I don't want to just
start a discussion about anything! I prefer to respond to my
friends discussions! I feel that I do that alot better then
starting my own! I enjoy responding and it makes me feel
good to participate in my friends discussions. I only start
a discussion when I have something that I feel is of interest!

I only start a discussion whenever I think that I have a good one on my hands. I don't really like to start discussions that I don't think that I will get very much discussions to it. It's kind of worthless to post stupid discussion topics becuase they don't really make you earn much or really do all that much for you.

I don't really do the "start your own discussion" thing, I probably only start 2 or max 3 discussions per week. I still like to respond to other people's discussions better, and it gives me more freedom when taking into account the time. I can then post whenever I feel like it without feeling obliged to comment on the responses in a discussion that I started myself.
