orders and disorders ...nowadays seems like we have a name and disfunction for just about everything in our lives do you think
we really suffer from all these disorders Or is it simply the doctors and pill makers trying to make more money? kids have ADD/ADHD but can sit and play several hours of video games? ~raised brows~
insanity defense to get an easy jail sentence so forth so on what are your thoughts?
personally i think drs are too quick to slap a label on things...go to see some of them and before you can even finish speaking they are writing several prescriptions for things you dont even need

Well from my experience with having a child with adhd, and yes he is on meds as perscribed by his neuroligist. as he also has epilpsy and is bi polar. I feel that yes this is a real disorder. My youngest being diag. with add and i do not give him meds. The reason that children can play video games as it stimulates the brain and sensor, that affect a child with this disorder. It is an imbalance in the brain that triggers children and adults with adhd. I do however think that there are alot of drs out there that do over prescribe to children that are not adhd or add. and yes they just want to slap something on the child and let them go.

They are handy excuses the doctors carry around in those large books. It's not you, your just not taking this pill.
