i just got my tax refund in today and im so happy.. its gonna totally pay off all my credit card debt and then a little to my house!! what are your plans for yours? is it to go to bills? to catch up with everything? or splurge on something you wanted but couldnt afford? maybe a vacation? with this economy im guessing a lot of people will be playing catch up but i figured i would ask to see what creative things people might be doing with theirs

I would certainly love a tax refund, I need money so badly, I am just so tired of thinking of all the things that I have to pay with no money to pay it with.

I got my state but not federal return. My federal goes right into savings...my state will be split between paying part of a credit card and part to order copies of my new book as I have a show lined up for the end of March and need copies...I am so excited! Woo Hoo!

If we're lucky enough to get any refund at all, it will be used for bills. Sorry, nothing creative here! My husband would probably want to spend it on something stupid but I won't allow it! He's blown all our money because he can't handle money and so we're struggling now. There's no way I'll allow him to spend a penny of it on something frivolous!

yeah my hubby is the same.. needless to say i do all the bills, check book etc because he will just FORGET to pay bills and then all of a sudden i get gifts.. he loves spending money and he likes buying me stuff which would be great.. if we had the money lol

I haven't filed yet, but I probably will in the next week or two. My original plan was to take a couple hundred and go have some fun at the casino and use the rest for bills and such. But right now with my finances in the state they're in, I will probably use it on bills and stash some for my next car insurance payment which is coming up in March. Yea, a whole lot of non-fun.

I have never gotten a tax refund before. My taxes are always... erm... well... correct. There is no such thing as over taxation where I am from. The closest thing to a tax refund is a government rebate. Which is pathetic comparing to what some are getting just because they are staying in a smaller home! And like you, the money receive is usually spent on clearing credit card bills.

They don't over tax me when it comes to income and property. But when it comes to other means of taxation, there are no such things as a tax refund. For example, Goods and services tax. This is one tax that is applied on top of taxes in bill as well. One good example is the water conservation tax that is applied to my water usage. The water tax is applied to my usage amount first. Then the GST is applied on the final figure. Make me so mad each time I open the bill at the end of the month. Sort of like a double taxation to me! And there are no refunds at the end of the year.

http://freecodesource.com/index.php?page=myspacegenerators/animator/index you can put up to 51 pictures to rotate.. now to get it to work on here you will need to use a different program to shrink it to 50x50 size or it wont flip.. it will just stick on the first picture and thats it

We dont get our t4-s until the end of the month and taxes are due in in april here so...I'll be doing mine as soon as i get the papers. My tax refund goes straight to my student loans. It takes them down alot faster. I've gone from about 20000 in debt for the one to just over 6000 owing in 6 years between income tax, regular payments and bursaries i got.

We have not got our W2s yet. I am still waiting everyone where I live have gotten thiers back, it makes me kinda of jealous. I am not sure what we are gonna do with ours yet. We were thinking about buying a car but I think that is still up in the air yet. To me we are gonna get a small one this year last years was huge! I could not even tell you it was so big. I was so happy I brought a new bed and things that we needed but this year I am kinda of dreading getting it because I know it is not gonna be very much. I am happy to hear you got yours. I know everyone where I live already got theirs. Happy mylotting and good luck on spending it wisely.

well we made less money last year than 07 but our refund was more so maybe you will have the same luck!! i hate it when people take their time sending it to you!! if they take much longer you can turn them in because legally they have till the 31st of jan to mail it out

We may be getting a new place, so we will probably set the money aside for the property improvements we need - new field lines, electric pole, running the water line farther down from the road. Fingers crossed - I'm tired of stepping around the spot in the floor we keep fixing but that keeps going soft.

i plan on putting mine away as savings/investments this year. in past years, i've used it to pay bills or to buy a little something nice, but i'm lucky enough to still have a job in this awful economy, and don't want to jinx myself by spending the money that comes back to me this tax season! i guess i'm being a bit more cautious than other years, but i think this is the best choice for me :)

i think everyone should be more cautious right now with the way the economy is.. if it wasnt for paying off my credit cards i was gonna put it in savings but obviously it would save me more money to wipe them out then to save it..
