I have about three discussions outstanding that need best response marking on them, I have been working on them the past week or so in order to try and get them gone! Some of the discussions dated back seven months, that is really bad and just goes to show how disorganised I have been. Well at last I am nearly up to date and once I catch up I am hoping never to get so behind again!! With regards to all your unresolved discussions what is the longest you have ever left them? If you have any unresolved discussions now how old is the oldest one?

Wow, good for you. Some Sundays I try to resolve my discussions and award a best response. But I always end up taking a lot of time to respond to interesting responses. So I get to award two or three respondents only. :( I don't reall yknow how old my unresolved discussions are. I just don't look at those which are months old anymore. Haha. Moving forward is my goal.

I just get distracted so easily and sometimes I cannot be bothered reading through all the discussions to give best response but I am done now!!

Exactly what is a best response and what is the significance of it?

Congrats! During my first year at Mylot, I posted several thousand discussions. So, I still have a few thousand to mark off, before I'm done. My oldest unresolved discussion would be two years old, cause that's how long I've been here. Give or take a year or two. I still have some discussions left over from before Christmas. One of these days, when I get a little extra time I'll go back through them all and award best response. Most times, I get so wrapped up in responding to everyone, that I never get around to marking a best response. Though, for awhile, I was marking a best response the same day that I started the discussion. I might go back to doing that. It seemed to work well.

I don't let them get out of hand, when you do them right away it is nothing, I wait for 10 responses and then give best response, and if my discussion doesn't have 10 responses then I mark after a week.

That was my trouble, I let them get out of hand.

I very seldom start discussions but whenever I do, they are so few that I can keep up with them.. I usually give it a good bit of time before marking a best response because you never know when someone else will be responding.. Good going, now you will have time to get behind again, lol.. Have a great day..

well that was what I was doing, leaving it so people had chance to answer, but then I would get really busy and forget about them and start another!!! Now I am a bit more controlled in starting and resolving, i am learning to be organised!!

hello gemini_rose congratulations to you on making here at Mylot for over a year now! whoo hoo! and you have done good at posting over that year's time here as well. hat's off to ya. and i guess that i let my unresolved discussions go for awhile sometimes also, but i do not know if i have ever had a Mylot discussion go unmarked with a best response to it for seven months thou. lol i like to give my discussions at least a week or so until i mark them with a best response. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

The trouble with me is that if I leave them a week then I forget about them and just carry on setting or responding, so I really need to resolve them as soon as possible.

I am sure when I go look at my Unresolved discussions that I will find ones that are older than this that are unresolved. Partly due to so many people that are No longer in here that I might have once marked as resolved, and now need to go in and remark as well. I also have a couple of discussions that I am not sure anyone there who has posted back deserves a Best Response but I do go in and try to resolve a lot of these as well.

Congratulatons and I am sure you are so happy to have gone through all your discussions and resolved them. I do not start many discussions due to my busy schedule with work as well as our small farm which can mean I am not online for days or even weeks at times. However I have only one unresolved discussion and that was one I started only a few days ago. I will have a look at the responses in the next few days and make a decision then which one I consider to be the best response. In the past I have given a best response within a couple of weeks but imagine that if I started a lot of discussions, then it could sometimes be a lot longer than that.

I try and get to them from time to time and I do manage to get a few out of the way...luckily, there are never too many to choose from...I like to re-read the discussions I haven't resolved and I would hate to have to re-read up to or over a hundred responses. I truly haven't looked gem...I wouldn't be surprised if I had some from back when I started, 3 years ago.

The longest one unresolved is about a week old. I don't post as many and when I don't get any more responses after a few days, then I go and select best response. It never accumulates more than a few weeks.

I have quite a few unresolved discussions. I can't resolve them because there are no responses on them. As for discussions with responses, I am never behind on them because I make sure to mark them after about a week. So I have some pretty old ones in my file, some dated back 13 months ago. But I guess they will be staying there because they are so far back in the pile that even if someone were to go to my profile page, they would never search that far back, I'm sure. I like to go to my friends profiles and look at their old discussions to see if they have any with no responses but I won't go back more than 10 pages because it just takes too long. Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend, Have a good mylotting day, Chris

Firstly congratulations on being here a year and marking all your best responses (well almost all of them)!!! I haven't marked mine for months, I dread going into my unresolved discussions but then I haven't started a discussion for months either so in order to beat my unresolved is to not start any then I wont have any to resolve but I think I should start resolving some of them!!! Though I think I have a few that haven't been responded to which is why I have marked those obviously!!!!

I have done this job two weeks ago I think and I have about 10 pages to mark best responses to my discussions posted. It was tough to choose are there are many good ones in just one discussions. I did it though and now I have two pages only and most of them are only posted for 2 weeks or less. That way I still give time to those who haven't replied to my discussions to post their views as well. I say well done for sorting them out now. I'm sure you'll be able to finish the job in time. Good Luck and keep posting! Have a nice day!

I think that is why it was left for so long because it was so hard to find a best response but I just had to choose in the end or else it is not fair to leave so many unresolved like that.

I have 3 or 4 unresolved discussions that just didn't get any responses. Most of them are from when I was first on here, but some are more recent. Either they have no responses at all, or they only have 1 response that isn't worth giving BR to.
