I was just reading a discussion on using coupons. Most people dont really understand or know about coupons and how they work. It takes some time to clip them out and to file them then to find the best deals and use them. I am not a coupon queen yet. More like a coupon PRINCESS hehe. But i have come out of a store with things that were free or almost free. I will not buy a product unless combined with a coupon, its under one dollar. Meat and produce is a bit harder for me. But i'm learning. if you combine rebating with all of your coupon sometimes you can get some nice free coupons of meat and produce. Please Im me if you would like to learn more. Tell me are you a coupon queen (or king) or are you working on being one?? or maybe your a princess or prince like me?? Tell me and everyone your best coupon stories. If you had a coupon on some thing that you didnt use (but the coupon made the product free) would you get the item?? I would and give it to some one else or sell it at a yard sale.

I hear about coupons from time to time and the only thing I know for sure is that it is an American concept and limited to that country. I'm curious though. What are coupons? Where do you get them and how do they work? It sounds quite complicated from what you are saying here MsSnow

WOW!! I didnt realize that every country did not have some form of coupon. well a coupon is like a small piece of paper that has writing on it. usually its for so much off a product. Like if you bought cereal. (I hope you have cereal??) You could find a coupon for $1 off cereal. (thats just an example because the coupon could be for more or less that amount). The way I see if is if i saw a dollar on the ground i would pick it up. So basically by using the coupon the cereal I am picking up and extra doller. Here is a wikopedia descrption of coupons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coupon Here is a page that has coupons you can print out. http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13132&zid=qu89&nid=10 To give you an example It does take some time and some work but its worth it to me to find that extra cash.

I am in the same boat, not quite a queen but definately could be a princess really close! I love to shop with my coupons and get lots of items for free. Even if I don't use the product, but a coupon makes it free(or really close to free) I still buy it and either sell it at a yard sale(you should see how fast $1 a box of toothpaste goes at a yard sale) or I donate to a shelter around here, who are always needing stuff like that since they have a limited budget. I like to make sure I have enough of a product to last my family(of 6) until the next sale comes along so I never have to pay full price. I do agree though it is hard finding deals on meats and produce, normally those are the only things I pay full price for. Check out my blog if you would like(new, but you will see what I got and what I spend) http://supersaveramber.blogspot.com
